Having heard Phil Sheridan at several events, he's all Joan represents him to be, if not more.
As to Joan, wasn't she in charge of promoting College of Marin attendance through IJ advertisements in years past? Her storytelling approach is far more appealing and thus superior to the "gravestone" information provided in COM advertising since that date!

Phil is a phenomenon - he can enrapture young children when he tells stories to them in libraries, he can create a multitude of voices in his audio voiceover work, and he can act, to boot. And in addition, he's a hell of a nice guy. I once got to perform with him - "Who's On First?" - the famous Abbott and Costello bit - and it was like rolling down a hill, laughing all the way.
