For the avid outdoor enthusiast, daylight's dwindling glow is a salvaged commodity. Even as winter beckons with the bite of the morning air upon ones bare skin, our Marin athletes simply change their swag ensemble; cyclists dust off their blinkies and headlamps, runners dig out their reflective run vests and stand up paddle boarders zip up their wetsuits.
The coming of winter, if we here in Marin can even call it "winter", is notably marked by setting the clocks back one hour. Even an hour change in time causes setbacks for some athletes, but not for all.
