Paragraphs by Paul Miller
Former Marin County Supervisor Barbara Boxer has always been a consistent politician, one full of integrity. She was like that as a supervisor, a U.S representative and now as a United States Senator. You can count on her serving her constituents consistently without flip-flopping.
She means it when she says, "Medical professionals, not insurance company bureaucrats, should be making health care decisions." And she is working like a draft horse in the Senate, more than likely even as you read this paragraph, to put together a health care bill that will fulfill this promise of hers: "We have the greatest hospitals, doctors, and medical technology in the world - we need to make them accessible to every American."But you cannot—and this is profound—count on her to be consistent in one important way.

Paul has captured Barbara Boxer. I think she should try to maintain the hair style she has at a Senate hearing. This shows that she doesn't waste too much time on her hair...she is too busy with work to do that. She is an earthy, rugged individual.

Yeah, good drawings. Thanks for pointing out the silliness of the Expensive Grooming Industry. Wrong as re politics, however-- this disgusting 1900-page mess of legislation is by and for the megaconglomerate Insurance and Drug Corporations, and while Babs might be tearing her hair out trying to save some slight bits of crumbs for the workingclass so's she can continue pretending to be from a party that's somehow Left, you really need to get doctors' opinions on this, not to mention nurses. Another layer of bureaucracy to try and micromanage Insurance gougers is nuts-- once again the Dems set their sights way too far Rightist (butt-kissing appeasers, which Repugs never are OTOH) and we're likely to end up with horrid mandates/fines and not much to show for it.
