Seems we all could use a bit more love in the world and the folks at Nancy's List and Owning Pink have an answer--Love Fest!
It's a celebration of "life, our community, abundance, gratitude and getting our mojo back" and it's being held this Friday in Sausalito.
Local artists, musicians, chefs, healers and all around groovy people will be on hand to share their love--and talents.
It's all to benefit Nancy's List, an organization founded by Nancy Novak--long-time Marinite and cancer survivor--devoted to providing support, encouragement and resources for people in Marin living with cancer.
Events include a silent auction, a demonstration from Chef Rebecca Katz on how to prepare cancer-fighting foods, a drumming circle, live music and models from Pinups for Purpose.
Attendees are encouraged to dress wildly, magically plumed and bedazzled.
The event will be at Studio 333, 333 Caledonia Street in Sausalito. It runs from 6:30 p.m. onward and organizers are asking for a $20 donation. For more information, check here.
