It's a long way from Marin County to the Big Apple, especially for a 14 year-old singer-songwriter-musician.
Less than a year ago we profiled Matt Jaffe, a musically gifted Mill Valley teen who has been bringing his special brand of folk-rock to people all over the county for years now. In the nine months since we profiled him, he's won songwriting contests, recorded a handful of songs and landed three gigs in New York City later this summer.
