The Next Credit Minefield- Equity Loans

Equity line loans funded the good times during the carefree 90s and early 2000s.  Now with the housing credit crisis in full swing, equity loan holders are not in such a generous mood.  According to this NYT article, some lenders are requiring homeowners to pay off their equity line loans before they put their house on the market.
